KWIK KOPY PRINTING AND MAILING ADD THE CANON imagePRESS C6000VP DIGITAL PRESS TO THEIR FLEET OF COMMERCIAL PRINTERS

CHICAGO, IL, May 10, 2010 – Canon Business Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A. and leading provider of document imaging and print production solutions, today announced that Kwik Kopy Printing & Mailing of Chicago, IL has installed the Canon imagePRESS C6000VP digital press to support the need for high quality digital color output.

“I was specifically impressed with Canon Business Solutions’ technical support, along with their reliable and well-trained service technicians and digital devices,” said Darryl Wolf, president of Kwik Kopy Printing & Mailing. When looking for a specific solution, Darryl said he was looking for a “high quality digital printing machine able to compete with the likes of Heidelberg on short runs and four-color process work.” And as a result of his imagePRESS C6000VP acquisition, his business is now completely digitally connected.

The Canon imagePRESS line represents the largest single engine R&D investment in Canon's history. Capable of printing images up to 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution with a superior level of quality, the imagePRESS C6000VP prints at 60 pages per minute, including media up to 110lb cover stock. The imagePRESS C6000VP reflects Canon Business Solutions’ commitment of enabling businesses of all sizes to capitalize on years of intensive R&D in digital color imaging and reproduction.

“Now that the Canon imagePRESS C6000VP is up and running, we will increase sales, reduce waste, man-hours, and more,” said Wolf. In addition, “We have also added a Canon imagePROGAF iPF710 Wide Format Printer to compliment our fleet of output devices.”

Kwik Kopy Printing & Mailing believes these new additions will help them compete in the higher-end market that relies heavily on digital printing. In addition, the price, service and quality that Canon Business Solutions offers its customers is an asset to any printing company today.

“We are so pleased that our business is now digitally connected. The technology that Canon Business Solutions has brought to our organization has put us on the path we need to be to in order to successfully compete now and in the future,” said Wolf.
