Authorized Send is a Canon developed MEAP application that offers the flexibility to authenticate in a variety ways, at point of sending.
Authorized Send can be customized for a customer’s unique environment. It requires users to authenticate themselves first before using the imageRUNNER device’s send capability. The authentication is done against Microsoft Domain. Users do not have to authenticate to access the basic copy features. An “Off-the-Shelf” version is also available as an optional accessory for select imageRUNNER or Color imageRUNNER devices.
