uniFLOW allows you to accurately measure usage , as well as printing and copying costs, by user, workgroup or department. Through the detailed reporting capability of the software, you can make the most effective use of your output resources by minimizing costs and strategically placing devices in areas where they are most needed. Additionally, accurate billing can take place with uniFLOW’s ability to integrate into back end billing systems to further ensure proper cost allocation.

uniFLOW is more than just a reporting and cost recovery solution—it's a way of gaining total control over your print and scan environment. In the office, uniFLOW’s re-routing capability allows you to redirect print jobs to the most cost-efficient device based on size and quality (B&W, Color). uniFLOW can also divert output to alternative devices in the event of a problem, so that staff productivity is not affected.

Beyond routing capabilities, uniFLOW provides your organization with the ability to enhance document security both through authentication as well as restricted keyword search and distribution prevention. This provides you with the assurance that confidential documents will not get in the hands of the wrong people. In order to provide users with the convenience required when traveling, uniFLOW also allows you to print and release jobs securely while out of the office leveraging mobile technology (smartphone, iPad).

In order to supply you with a complete solution, uniFLOW also goes beyond solely print infrastructure capabilities and offers scanning. uniFLOW scanning allows users to authenticate and send paper documents easily back to their e-mail, a folder, an application on their PC or to the company document management system. uniFLOW can perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on the document and convert the image to an editable format, as well as extracting text and barcodes to be used as indexing information.
