imageWARE Document Manager and Scan Manager
Canon imageWARETM Document Manager software transforms paper documents into an easy-to-manage, digital document database that can be used to improve day-to-day office productivity. With Document Manager, organizations can gain a strategic advantage in today’s dynamic business landscape by capturing, managing, and distributing their mission-critical business information efficiently. A document storage and retrieval system, imageWARE Document Manager provides a centralized method by which information is shared across an organization via integrated scan, fax, print, and e-mail capabilities, and without sacrificing document integrity. Files can be imported from Windows®,or scanned from hard copy via a TWAIN or ISIS® scanner, and archived immediately for powerful document searches based on properties, dates, key words, natural languages, and annotations, even over the Internet (when using the optional Web Document Server).
The built-in, outside-in document viewer allows users to view over 250 file formats, including PDF, TIFF, Microsoft® applications, and more. Files can even be exported to PDF! imageWARE Scan Manager is a production-level image capture solution that is specialized for highvolume batch scanning jobs. After documents are scanned, they can be automatically indexed with zone OCR, or Scan Manager’s pre-indexing, post-indexing, and input-masking functions for improved accuracy and reliability. Scan Manager also offers bar-code and forms recognition that optimizes document processing throughput. Together, imageWARE Document Manager and Scan Manager are members of the imageWARE Suite, which also includes Canon imageWARE Publishing Manager.
